UK Scrap Metal Recycling Plant
Welcome to the forefront of sustainable energy innovation! Nestled in southern England, a leading scrap metal recycling facility has entered into a partnership with NEL to introduce an off-grid Electrical Energy Production Plant, fuelled by cutting-edge fuel cell technology.
Our goal is to create a plant that not only operates 24/7 but does so with a commitment to generating a staggering 14,500kWh per day, seven days a week.
Our Electrical Energy Production Plant is equipped with state-of-the-art batteries from AESI in the USA, storing energy efficiently on-site. The result? A significant reduction in our dependence on the national grid. What's even more exciting is our plant's adaptability. During periods of low demand, it can scale down production to less than 30% of its maximum output.
Weekends and times of low demand? Consider them covered with minimal load operation, showcasing the plant's intelligence in responding to real-world energy needs.
SustainabilityThe Co2 produced during the process isn't just released into the atmosphere—it's captured, compressed, and finds a new purpose in the food and drinks market. We've turned a potential environmental concern into a profitable venture, thanks to our ingenious profit-sharing scheme between the Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) and the scrap metal processing plant.
The impact on your bottom line? Savings of a remarkable 22-25% on your current energy costs! How, you ask? Our Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) ensures that you benefit from low-cost fixed terms for the electricity supplied, ensuring long-term price stability for your processing plant. But that's not all. The surplus electrical energy we produce opens up possibilities for the metal processing plant. Imagine saying goodbye to diesel-powered loading shovels and embracing electrically powered units. Not only will you save money, but you'll also significantly reduce on-site emissions, contributing to a greener, more sustainable future.
In summary, our Electrical Energy Production Plant is not just a facility; it's a game-changer- one that puts your needs, the environment, and your bottom line at the forefront.
